MEN scouring the red light area of touristy Phuket, beware. Breast power will knock you out cold. The ladies of the night do not just flaunt their assets to entice the men to pay them.
Pretending to be in the throes of passion, the women make the men kiss their breasts.
A few minutes into that, the men lose consciousness.
By the time they come around, not only have the women disappeared, their wallets and any other expensive thing they had on them are gone too.
The women mainly target Chinese men, Lianhe Zaobao reported.
The interesting part is that the women themselves have admitted that they have added a new trick to their repertoire to make
a fast buck.
The women said they smear a chemical onto their breasts before they leave home. In summer, they put a plaster over the smeared area to prevent sweat from diluting the drug.
About three minutes after the men kiss their breasts, they are out cold. The effect lasts for one to three hours.
The women said that the drug has no side effects and is safe to use. They work in groups of three or four, targeting men in bars.
Some women just stand by the roadside and sweet talk the men into hiring them for the night. They charge 4,000 baht (S$165) to 5,000 baht (S$205), the report said.
China Press reported that about seven Taiwanese tourists were recently conned by the women.
Apple Daily spoke to two such women, Saika, 22, and Joob, 24, who are said to be part of the syndicate.
S'pore men targeted too
Joob said more than 10 women are involved, adding that men from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Singapore were their targets.
"They are more timid and usually won't lodge a police report afterwards. Normally, we can find a few thousand baht on them," she was quoted as saying.
She added the leader of the syndicate takes a cut of 1,500 baht every time the women do a breast job.
The daily reported that the mastermind could earn up to S$220,000 a year.
The women said that they were initially scared because they were not sure how long the effect of the drug would last. But the leader of the gang advised them to leave the room the moment the client is knocked out.
The women said the largest haul yet has been 20,000 baht.
Mr Liang Linjie, director of clinical toxicology at Taiwan's Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, said that the seizure medicine is commonly known as liquid ecstasy, or G-Water hydroxyl acid.
It is a colourless, odourless liquid and affects the central nervous system and causes drowsiness quickly, as well as a temporary loss of memory. Excessive use is fatal.
