he looks damn bui and unhealthy

In this case gov might need to step in and state own the theatre or else it is really dying since covid. Theatre in the early days is sure earned everyone will wonder what is the next blockbuster movies now is absolutely dead.

I think the founder should register his main business in Maldives or some cannian island MMO.

And uses Mm1 to register the business. If MM1 should bankrupt, MM1 will just shut and fold. As MMO who is the main shareholder should just write off the entire investment.

Main wealth is intact.

Dunno how to adapt sure dead end road
The continuously changing economic models keep challenging businesses to stay relevant. In order to ensure long lasting competitiveness, companies must keep on delivering sustainable value, which is getting more difficult to achieve.

Some fuckers are just not cut out to do business.
Traditional business models, where corporations leveraged on their economies of scale, technology and a reliable supply chain to meet the demands of the mass market, are numbered. The cycle of industrial production and uncontrolled product consumption, owing to greater consumer spending power, are behind us.

Indeed stubborn. MM2 stocks are worse than penny stocks. Fucking worthless
The unrelenting changes affecting our society have implications for the way we do business. Only innovative solutions that bring genuine value, appropriate to the specific needs of consumers, will result in sustainable growth.

Survival of the fittest. How come GV can thrive while not this Cathay? Filmgarde also closing and exiting. Shaw has all but pivoted their businesses I think they keeping the cinemas for nostalgia sake only. So what gives?

The cinema industry is facing challenges, but GV seems to be doing better than their competitors because they are adapting to changing markets, as seen by their collaboration with the projector at Cineleisure. There is a willingness to diversify their offerings, to include art house style films with main stream blockbusters.

Nowadays, no more aunties sitting behind the counter selling movie tickets anymore. All self-service kiosks.

When I was a child, the cinema had staff selling tickets, ushers to show patrons to their seats using torchlights, vendors selling snacks like kacang puteh and drinks and an army of cleaners. Movies were usually full house events providing many jobs for the less educated.

Too overpriced and tons of rules to follow + need to check bags before entering as if I am committing a crime. Song bo Melvin Ang? Now you know who are your boss liao sibo? I voted with my money and haven't been to any cinema for >10 years liao and WILL NOT be looking forward to go one anytime soon. Cheers Melvin Ang and 祝生意興隆 ok..... huat ah..... lol.....

Do you even know how mm2 structures its business? Apart from mainstream fare like Jack Neo's shit, it distributes arthouse films and invests in new wave Sg and regional filmmakers, and yet it can't survive. Why? It's not about diversifying portfolio. No business in the local entertainment scene has done it more than mm2. Apart from making and distributing films, it has acquired numerous other entities including a post-house called VividTree, and an event company, Unusual productions. Quite clear you don't have insider knowledge. There are many reasons why mm2 has failed, one of which ironically is the greed of rapid expansion and diversification. You will always be fucked when you bite off more than you can chew. you should go find out rather than spout platitudes here.
