hello, let's get the facts right. actually in singapore you never get to own a car at all............you buy a licence called COE(btw out-fighting with your fellow comrades) to rent a measly car for 10 years and then give it back to garmen. Meanwhile you pay ERP and all sort of high taxes to drive that damm sh!tty small car which probably costs more than a mercs or BMW overseas. and you call that ownership??? blardy stupid idea.
how about issuing COEs to "buy" a watch for 10 years and pay taxes and ERP everytime you look at it for the time and after 10 years you give back your watch to them?? same idea what.........LOL.wake up!!! this is "swiss" standard of living. LOL and we wonder why there is no sense of ownership in singapoor. never understand why people drive merc or BMW when they don't really own it and look so smug.
