Communism can be criticized for its economic inefficiency due to its reliance on centralized planning. Without market-driven signals such as supply and demand, it can be difficult to allocate resources effectively.

Communism has failed to generate wealth because of its economic efficiency. Whatever wealth it did generate went straight to the top echelon of the party.

Capitalism has generated great wealth, but is subject and has been subjected to rich, powerful entities (individuals or corporations) cornering the market, resulting in monopoly and concentration of wealth in the hands of a few (multi-billionaires, MNCs), who then use their power and wealth to manipulate global trading and economic policies in their favour. These MNCs are now supra-national entities beyond the reach of any individual country's laws.

Both the above systems are subject to the tyranny of the power elite.

What we need is a free enterprise system, with a free flow of information to correctly register market signals, low entry levels to the masses, fair corporate taxation, and strict laws forbidding the formation of monopolies and political lobbying by big corporations.
