Bus driver beaten up and nearly loses penis
GEORGE TOWN: A 32-year-old bus driver was beaten up and had his penis almost severed by two parang-wielding man at the Rifle Range car park here. The bus driver was about to get into his bus to fetch factory workers when the incident occurred at about 6am on Thursday.
It is learnt that the duo ambushed the driver and forced him into the back of the bus. They than started to punch and kick him before slashing his penis. The victim cried for help after the assailants left but no one heard him. He was only rushed to the hospital after another bus driver came to get his bus at the car park.
The victim is being warded at the Penang Hospital. George Town OCPD Asst Comm Gan Kong Meng confirmed a police report was lodged but declined to elaborate. “The case had been classified under Section 394 of the Penal Code (for causing hurt while committing a robbery),” he said.
