POLICE arrested two brothers believed to be responsible for a spate of vehicle thefts in Woodlands early on Monday morning. A women had spotted the brothers, aged 21 and 26 years, loitering suspiciously at a multi-storey carpark in Woodlands and alerted the police. Police found 15 cash cards and a bunch of motor vehicle ignition keys on them. A lorry that they had stolen earlier that night was also recovered. The brothers are suspected to have stolen from vehicles in the Woodlands area since December last year. The suspects will be charged in court on Tuesday for stealing the lorry. The offence carries a jail term of not more than 7 years.
