> Three people live in the lap of luxury for a brief spell on a stolen credit card before they were arrested at a hotel in Miri, reported Metro Ahad.
A couple was picked up in their room while a man was detained in the lobby at about 3pm on Friday.
The arrests followed a police report lodged by a resident in nearby Piasau that his house had been broken into while he and his family were vacationing.
In that incident, the victim reported that he lost a Mercedes Benz and other belongings worth about RM35,000.
Police sources said the three suspects had booked into the hotel using a stolen credit card, which they also had allegedly used to buy a laptop, computer printer and petrol.
It was found that the suspects had run up RM15,000 worth of credit from the card.
