It's not just eating and drinking that commuters do these days, they even smoke on board a train, says STOMPer Sporty, who spotted ashes left on the seat of an MRT train this morning (May 5).

He adds that this is definitely evidence of someone who was smoking on the train.

Says this STOMPer:

"While on board the SMRT train this morning (May 5) at 6.55am, I found evidence of a possible person smoking on the train in the form of ashes left on the seat.

"Perhaps it is time to start imposing a fine instead of just telling them not to eat and drink on the train.

"By now, offenders of all ages are getting more hardcore."
