New editor for Shape magazine
ONE of the leading health and fitness magazines in Singapore, Shape, has announced the appointment of a new editor, Ms Jeanette Wang.
Well-known in Singapore as an avid triathlete, ultra-marathoner and netballer, Ms Wang, 28, has worked as a journalist for five years at The Straits Times newspaper's sports desk and art desk.
'I feel truly fortunate and blessed to be given this opportunity to contribute to Shape magazine as Associate Editor,' said Ms Wang. 'How many people can say that work is their passion? I'm looking forward to walking together with Singapore women on the road to fitness and looking good.'
Shape Singapore is a licensed title from American Media and is published by SPH Magazines Pte Ltd. Ms Wang will be reporting directly to Susanah Cheok, Group Editor, Fashion & Beauty, SPH Magazines.
'We are very pleased and excited to have Jeanette on board Shape,' said Ms Cheok.
'Her journalistic background and domain knowledge on women's fitness, nutrition, health and well-being make her an excellent choice to edit Shape magazine. With her passion and experience, we are confident that she will drive the magazine forward and take it to a new level.'
