I find the way N Korea breached the Brazilian Goal in 89th min very impressive .... fucking Brazilian defence torn to shreds .... goalie Cesar also impotent !

superb goal from N Korea !

The Brazillians are supposed to be world champions and the best, and yet they only managed to beat the squint eye blokes by a narrow margin. For a team that didn't qualify for world cup in 44 years, I think the N. Korean chappies have done a great job in giving the Brazillians a really tough time.

The North Korean goal scorer No-8 Yun Nam (Hair Care), may be promoted to General when he returns home and have dinner with Kim.

Such a goal is known as the banana-kick goal perfected by living legend Pele.

It was definitely not a fluke goal as claimed by some.

Brazil 1st goal was a horrible mistake by North Korea GK who anticipated a cross and forget to cover his near post.

in my opinion, it is meant to be a cross

cos if maicon intends to score, he would be facing the goal and not running parallel to the goal....not for anything but to increase the chance to score. its natural instinct.

its a fluke goal but a good goal if it materialise, if it did not, it is a misplaced pass...:p

no lah...the goal was intended to be a shot and not a cross.

Brazil 1st goal is a shot. That Brazil guy wanted to cross initially but at the last moment, he saw the gap between the near post and North Korea GK. Thus he shoot.

I agree. You could see that he was surprised by it. Nobody attempts a banana kick from there. Anyone playing football will know this. It obviously a cross that went the wrong way. Both the Brazilians and Koreans were surprised by it. Must be the new ball. I guess that more people will now try perfect this after seeing what the ball can do.

Banana kicks are something else Singapore had Rajagopal, the camel doing it well from corner kicks.

Guys, go watch the replay of the match in slow motion and watch how the two Brazilian goals are scored. You will realise easily that the two goals were possible because the Korean Defender Number 8, Ji Yun Nam was slow in anticipation to guard and intercept any sprint into the Korean's penalty area. That was the same defender who scored Korean's only goal. That's why you wondered why he ran to his coach immediately after scoring. The Korean left wing section was left vulnerable because of his poor defence.Go watch the replay. The two Brazilian goals should never have happened if he had defended the left wing well. Am I correct with my analysis?
