31-year-old Felicia Lee, who was known by her stage name Felica Tang, was found beaten and suffocated in her apartment in Monrovia, southern California, in Sept 11, 2009.
According to online news sources, 45-year-old Brian Lee Randone, had called 911 to report that his girlfriend was unconscious. He was detained since her death and released after the verdict.

Her family then moved to Los Angeles, California, when she was 13.
