"The PAP government cannot simply introduce a law so that fundamental rights are removed. It is unconstitutional to have laws written to suppress original rights or ideals. This is the same with the introduction of GRCs for elections, using a law to override existing constitutional requirement for a by-election to be held when a Member of Parliament vacates his or her seat.
Does anyone want to fund a constitutional challenge against the govt on how this whole police permit system makes a mockery of Singaporeans' fundamental rights?
In the meantime, this will be filed as a complaint to the United Nations as a violation of human rights."
Sinkies do what sinkies do best - COMPLAIN. How? Will PAP kena?
