Chitchat Bone Marrow (tulang) French Style

Last week visited a restaurant, Les Vieilles Canailles, in Aix-en-Provence and had a very strange food. Will you eat this bone marrow?

The told me they serve a very special starter known as bone marrow, I actually hesitated a little so I ordered the octopus starter instead

with a pastis and a bottle of wine

My heart was a little unsettled wanting to try the bone marrow so I ordered it not know what it is, how big it is and how its cooked (my only idea of bone marrow is our tulang in red sauce which I don't eat)

So came the bone marrow which looks quite beautiful but the bone looked a little on the big side

When I dug in this came out

Inside is full of this jelly thing after just 2 teaspoons full I fell very jelat and wanna throw out, its like eating fats. Now I know what bone marrow is and I will never want to eat this again.

For the main course the veal was perfect though, I really enjoyed this

Fine dining is really too expensive in Singapore. I think 85 Euros can only pay for the tax, wines and starters in Singapore.

Ang Koh cultural I despise especially their grape wine.
