A man with a compelling desire for guest relations officers gave a Thai GRO RM10,000 and went to the extent of abandoning his family in Tumpat, Kelantan, for her sake, Kosmo! reported. This was among the extreme cases handled by bomoh Panjang Esau Chau Wek, 68, who said many wives sought his help to get back their wayward husbands.
These wives, aged 25 to 50, included spouses of corporate executives and celebrities. Esau, from Kampung Kubang Panjang in Kelantan, claimed many women came to see him because they could not stand the ways of their husbands.
They would tell him later that their husbands eventually changed for the better through taking Esau’s love potions, which are usually concoctions including elephant sperm, cenuai hair oil and powder made from buffalo skin. Esau, who claimed he had been a practising shaman since 18, said his customers were satisfied with his services.
