STOMPer LG wants to know what the purpose of this shelter is. This is especially since it is unusually large and too tall to shelter from rain.
The STOMPer says:
"This is a drop-off just newly constructed outside my flat as part of the upgrading works (Bishan St 12 near Block 105).
"Any layman can see that this drop off obviously does not work due to a few observations:
1) It is too high to shelter rain
2) It is too high even for a tall vehicle
3) The structure looks too huge and oversized
4) It is not proportional to its surroundings
"The question I want to ask is who designed it and who approved this design? An architect or an engineer or a contractor?
"Whoever it is, the design is not sensitive enough to ensure its practicality.
"Why do they use tax payer's money to build a potential white elephant?
"There are more than one of this structure in the nearby precincts. This is a joke".
