This habit has broken up his marriage to devotees (Ah Mao) and isn't doing much good for his relationship with his young apprentice (Ah Gao).

Mink You repeatedly promised Ah Gao that he'll be there for his eighth birthday party, but when an important con job comes up at work, Mink You calls Ah Gao and makes an excuse so flimsy that even Ah Gao can see through it.

When it comes time to blow out the candles on his cake, Ah Gao makes a wish: that his sifu monk could go just one day without telling a lie. Suddenly, Mink You finds himself physically incapable of saying anything that isn't true -- which, given the court settlement case he's just been handed, is going to make his next day in court very interesting indeed.

I Know What You BOUGHT Last Summer is a thriller that revolves around the lies of four conmen who have just graduated; Mink You (Ming Yi), Durian (TT Durian), Ah Yong (Yeung) and Lao Lee (Minister Mentos).

We see them making plans for their modern lives in posh Country Clubs, and life seems good. Unfortunately, as they are driving home from the country clubs in their BMWs, they hit something on the road.

They thought their lies are concealed, until they receive a cryptic note which says "I KNOW WHAT YOU BOUGHT LAST SUMMER"
