Pilot of F-18 Super Hornet crash in California dead

The Navy has confirmed the death of the pilot of the F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter jet, which crashed near a military installation in California. His name will not be released until notification of his next of kin.
“The Navy mourns the loss of one of our own and our thoughts go out to the family and friends affected by this tragedy,” the service branch said on Twitter.
The fighter-attack aircraft crashed Wednesday morning at the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, which is located near Death Valley National Park, approximately 150 miles north of Los Angeles. A rescue operation followed, as it was unclear if the pilot had managed to eject from the plane.

Are you China groupies really this dumb? The US has a free press; that is why things like these get reported. In fact they are reported because such events are rare and therefore newsworthy; and also because the US media loves bad news and have a tendency to exaggerate --- bigger explosions and higher body counts make for a more sensational story. Military aircrafts crash in China just about every other day but you don't ever hear about them because (1) life is cheap in China, and (2) they have a shitty government that hushes up all failures that make them look bad.

i heard from few chinks in china that
for every successful jet fighter that managed to take off and return safely
3 to 5 fighters were crashed.
but the authority covered up.
the chinks are in the dark and think that their air force is lumpar 1.
