The stress comes with urban living, I supposed. How we wish we can seek refuge in a rural village and let the world go by once in a while. Some Japanese executives abandon Tokyo and settle in the rural areas - less income but more peace and less worries.

Unfortunately all the villages are gone in Singapore -that's the future shock that American futurologist Alvin Toffler's talked about - you can't return to where you come from. I supposed we can visit the kampongs in Malaysia and Indonesia once in a while to escape the stress and rejuvenate the soul. Some young people come to this kopitiam to let off steam - that's their lifestyle that they are familiar with!
