Bilateral ties with Msia will be difficult unless the 66%’s Govt is pacifist!

Mr Najib (PM of Mat) may have convinced the local Singaporeans that their defense budget is made out of phobia. Singapore is far from Israel.
Malaysia is not what we regard as a belligerent neighbor; it supplies the red-dot potable water for many decades at a cheap price (1000 gallons at 3 cents). And we can safely say that Singapore will still need water from Malaysia for another 50 years. This is a fact of life, toilet water and the Marina -bay water will not keep singapore alive. Lets not delude ourselves. Besides, water from mountains and falls is safer to drink after treatment.

Some may think Najib is using Mas Selamat as a bargaining chip to beat the 66% Govt to submission. This is not true and an excuse to knock his points.

When Mas Selamat was captured, it was the Singapore Mass- Media who went into an euphoria, and trying to aggrandize the PAP people. News hit headlines like mad as if Singapore was the captor.

And this rendition sent wrong signals to the Malaysia that Singapore treasures Mas Selamat more than their biological citizens.

To Malaysia, Mas is nobody and worthless person hiding in a kampong house wanting to live a reclusive life after the escape. If this guy Mas is a professional terrorist, Singapore would have been attacked within the 13 months. But did he fight bravely with Mat police during the raid ?

Anybody can make hoax calls or threaten to do this and that but take a look at Ah- Mas credentials, I would say he is kampong boy playing hide and seek.

It is timely for Najib to broach the bilateral ties becos fairy –tale relationship is not real, the longer it drags; Singaporean posterity may have to face a war.

What Najib proposes is good for both citizens. Three bridges across the straits are definitely practical becos the jam at the current two is too stupid. Is it the PAP trying to deter local Singaporeans from going to JB?
The third bridge, let say, at Punggol across to JB is a brilliant idea.
And we have the MRT to reach Iskandar or JB areas are also a good suggestion.

Ultimately, local Singaporeans need to find a cheaper place to shop and to fill up petrol, and most of all, off the beaten track to forget the dirty HDB beehives.

The bridges, the MRT to JB is good news to local Singaporeans, and better still, the roads being wider and bigger to JB.

This project will see healthy competition within Singapore to entice the locals.
Of course, PAP govt will earn lesser but the local Singaporeans will be happier.

Talking about air space will mar the talk and go back to square one becos this is an encroachment. Noise made by fighter planes is deafening. .

Time has changed, the three-quarter tank rule should also be reviewed becos when the three bridges are up and running, more local Singaporeans will go north; the rule will put PAP in the bad light.

Najib is doing a great job, local Singaporeans should support his proposal becos he is also speaking up for us indirectly.
Mas selamat is just the beginning of breaking a stranded friendship, and the so-called terrorist has also contributed to Singaporean society. Najib came here with sincerity and hope; he is not forcing PAP govt to bite the bullet.

Gentlemen, we also don’t want see CIQ and railway land issues still dangling around becos things may change for the worse in future. Aggression will destroy Singapore completely.
People get old and die, but legacy must be pacifist so neighborliness will ensure many generations to come. Hi-tech weapons become obsolete when there is no water and food.

Gentlemen, please email Najib as local Singaporeans to support him, the sooner the bridges and MRT are built in good grace with wider roads to JB, and congestion-free, local Singaporeans will save more money for their own.

Another thing, local Singaporeans can really consider the nursing homes at JB or buy property at Iskandar for retirement when roads and bridges are congestion-free.

Cheers.
