The creation of the state of Israel was unilaterally awarded by the UN without local consent. The Jewish population at the time of award was only about 35% but were given 65% of the area under British Palestinian mandate.
Any agreement made without consent of the locals are null and void.
When sinkie decided to merge with malaya, there was a consensus in the way of votes and the majority agreed.
But in the case of Palestine, local Palestinians did not have a say on the creation of Israel, nor it's borders.
When the foundation on the creation is unjust, it will lead to disaster as we can all witness currently.

Referendum is the word I was looking for. No referendum on the creation of Israel in Palestine way back in 1947. The Arabs wanted a secular state. The Jews wanted a Jewish state.

Except for monarchies, Most Arab countries are secular. There is no state hindrance to conversion of faith unlike in jiu hu. You can marry anyone you want in any religion which is prohibited in jiu hu.
Monarchies from oil producing countries done are tax free. Brunei is a good example. You can be a pork eating Jew and work there and no taxes.
