beware of child care centere who use expired foods
to feed your precious child

these centeres get expired or near expired food items to feed the children they are looking after-
unbeknowest to the parents that paid good monies to let these center take 'good' care of them

when my mother used to work in one centre in clementi as a cleaner
she ask why so many boxes of instant noodles
they say it was 'donated' by someone
but say that the expirey dated is very near

now my 3 year old niece is in a child care center
she come to my house everyday with the chocolate, sweets , crackers ,foods from the center

on closer inspection
most of the foods are not of good condition

they are either sticky
the wrapper is molded into the sweets , cholocate etc
most of the time they are un edible
one time the child offer me a coin chocolate that was tasteless,
I assume tht chocolate must be spoilt or expired
I only wonder what she is eating in the daytime

Is that all? didn't anyone do anything about it? Thought Singapore parents very gung-ho when it comes to protecting their child and making complaints?

none of these parents know this
they have to be there day in day and very observant to know this

Tell me, Singapore has a humid and warm climate. It is no wonder that the wrapper will stick onto the melted sweet. Unless you keep it in the fridge or in an air-con room, try leaving a sweet out in the open. It WILL melt and the wrapper will stick to the sweet.

Coin chocolate: These chocolates only either come from China or Malaysia. They are cheap chocolates with lots of cheap cream used in it (think Planta, the cheapo margarine) and very little amount of cocoa used in it. No wonder you found it tasteless.

I have been avoiding these chocolates ever since 15 years ago when I was still a kid.

Your assumptions for the above 2 points are unfounded and baseless.

As for the expired foods or near-expiry foods, I do not know and thus have no comments. You may be right.

And please don't use the lame logic of "Oh you MUST be working for the child care centres" or "OH you must be the boss running the child care centres" to try to prove me wrong.

Cheers!

which means that u are in your early 20s
u are too 'young' to be really 'concern' about anything,- health, politics, finances, property etc
