They have many orders from African Countries!

Buy 3 and get 1 free.

Buy 5 and get 2 free + another 5 women to service the African pilots.

I thought Singapore have F-15SG and F16C/D that are far superior.

There actually hasn't been a serious dogfight of same generation jetfighters since the Vietnam War.

Anyway with the current generation of low cost missle armed UAVs, this seems pretty redundant. As UAV battle technology matures even further, it is likely to make expensive US carrier groups vulnerable to an inexpensive missle saturation attack.

wrong. there were serious dogfights over the bekka valley in 1982 between syrian mig-23s and su-20s and israeli a-4s, f-4s, f-15s and f-16s. an overwhelming majority of planes shot down were syrian.

As long as these knockoff F16 can hit and damage critical US installations, it's a big threat to the world!

Pitting Mig-23's against F-15s / F-16s can hardly be said to be a dogfight between same generation jetfighters.

wrong. the most recent dogfight is in 1994 where 6 Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina) Air Force J-21 attack jets dogfight with USAF F-16s. The dogfight ended with 4 Republika Srpska J-21 shotdown in Banja Luka, Bosnia.

Falklands War 1982 dogfight. Mostly Israeli Dagger and French Mirage on the Argentine side versus Sea Harrier on the British side. Argentina did respectably at sea battles but lost heavily at air and on land. I think pilot training regime and experience affect such outcomes a lot.

Gulf of Sidra incident (1981)

Two US F-14 Tomcats shot down two Libyan Su-22

Gulf of Sidra incident (1989)

Two US F-14 Tomcats shot down two Libyan MiG-23 Flogger-Es

knew you were going to come up with this sh*t excuse.

mig 23 completion of design - 1967
production - 1970
f 15 completion of design - 1967
production - 1972

same generation, but not same design and technological advances. u.s. is often ahead in design and tech advances by years, but they are the same generation fighters nevertheless in terms of design and production timelines.

in bekka 82, there were also dogfights between 2nd gen fighters f-4s and mig-21s, but in lesser numbers than 3rd gen fighters.

small dogfights, not as big in terms of quantity of aircraft as in bekka valley. moreover j-21 is 2nd gen while f-16 is 3rd gen. not a fair comparison.

That was one of the rare wars between two US allies.

The technical specs should be about same, well giving the Brits perhaps 10% edge since they're inventors and manufacturers themselves. That should be more than offset by the numerical inferority, distance and logistics involved in traversing the Atlantic north to south.

Personnel training and command competency is very important. It was a good fight between two allies anyway. Oswaldo Ardilles (Argentina World Cup winner and Tottenham Hotspur player), his fighter-pilot cousin was shot down. Prince Andrew of England, helicopter pilot, was shot down too. Both survived, but surely injured and traumatised to a certain extent, but also certainly decorated far more extensively.

Argentina grossly miscalculated with the decline of British power propaganda and underestimated British prowess over distance . Otherwise, it should have won. How could half the Royal Navy with only one aircraft carrier sail more than 8,000 miles to beat Argentina at their doorsteps with Argentina having weeks in advance to prepare defence for it?

Aiyoh, Bekka valley also small dogfight. Just admit that the most recent dogfight is in Bosnia :D

I wonder if the Lees will send Lee Hongyi to the front lines?

The Israeli Air Force claims it shot down 86 Syrian aircraft[45], with no air combat losses of its own. This was the largest combat of the jet age with 150 fighters from both sides.[46][47]
