Cupboard delivery nightmare because of slip-shod Chinese national worker

STOMPer gapster9699 bought from cupboards from a shop at Genting Road but had to deal with a nightmare delivery as the cupboards were brought to his home before the agreed time.

He also received cupboards which had a lot of scratches on them, on top of having to deal with the fact the delivery guy disposed his old cupboards at the lift lobby near his home.

He recounted:

"I bought two cupboards for my kids from Beng Tuan Trading No. 23 Genting Road #06-01 Chevalier House and they delivered them today (June 4).

"The expected delivery time was after 7pm and I received a call from the delivery guy, a Chinese national, requesting to deliver at 4pm.

"I informed him that no one was at home.

"I then checked to see if he could help dispose two old cupboards when he comes.

"He informed me that he would require me to pay him coffee money for the extra service.

"FYI the cupboard cost $189 , delivery cost $120 and I still need to pay extra for removal?

"I informed him to leave the old cupboards alone and I will arrange for town council to dispose as it is free of charge.

"I also informed him to come at the stipulated time of after 7pm.

"My kids arrived home with the maid at 5:30pm and the delivery guy arrived not long after, they dragged both the cupboards from the corridor into the rooms instead of carrying them.

"The delivery guy then took both the old cupboards and left them at lift landing just outside my flat.

"Upon arriving home , I inspected the new cupboards and there were numerous scratches on them as well as scratches on my floor.

"I called the number given on the receipt and was informed that if the delivery guy were to return I would have to pay him to move the old cupboards.

"I informed him that my neighbours are complaining as the cupboards are a fire hazard and that they will make a police report if the cupboards are not removed.

"The saleman started to get aggressive and told me to go ahead. This is just a warning to everyone to beware when dealing with this company."
