台南市永康區一處透天式民宅16日凌晨傳出火警，造成屋主劉姓男子死亡，劉妻及兒子因傷送醫。檢警經調查後發現屋主女兒有縱火嫌疑，經向法院申請羈押獲准。

台南市永康區一處集合式透天住宅在16日凌晨4時許傳出火警，火勢雖很快被撲滅，但消防人員進入屋內搜教受困者後，發現54歲的劉姓男子呈現心肺功能停止；56歲的妻子及25歲的兒子被救出時意識清楚，因傷被送往醫院救治，劉男則在送醫後宣告不治。
警方和火場鑑識人員在案發後重回現場採證調查時，初步在屋內發現可疑的易燃塗料，不排除有人為因素造成火警，報請台南地檢署檢察官指揮偵辦。
警方初步調查後，發現死者最近曾與27歲的女兒發生爭吵；有監視器拍到女兒在深夜外出購買汽油，可能涉嫌縱火，但劉女在接受警訊時否認犯案。
台南地檢署發言人柯怡伶今天表示，承辦檢察官莊立鈞依現場跡證及相關調查結果，認為死者女兒劉姓女子涉嫌殺害直系血親尊親屬及放火罪嫌重大，所犯之罪為最輕本刑5年以上有期徒刑重罪，且有滅證及逃亡之虞，經向法院聲請羈押，法院昨天深夜裁准。此案將由檢察官深入追查，以釐清犯罪事實全貌。
