They set hearts aflutter when they appeared nude (from behind) on the cover of their first mini-album Unreal. But to see Japanese pop-rock band flumpool bare their souls, you would have to hear them live.
"Performing live is very important to us," says lead singer Ryuta Yamamura, 27, in an interview with RazorTV in Tokyo, Japan. "We share our happiness and sadness with our fans through our live performances on stage."
Indeed, the five-year-old band had the 5,000 strong crowd fired up when they performed at their recent concert held at the Tokyo International Forum. And Singapore fans can look forward to their electrifying showmanship when the quartet, comprising of Yamamura, Kazuki Sakai (gutarist), Genki Amakawa (bassist) and Seiji Ogura (drummer), make their way to Singapore for their debut music showcase here on Sept 15 at *Scape.
"Singapore has a different language and different culture," says Yamamura. "But we feel like through music, we will be able to communicate and connect with each and everyone when we perform."
