You promised in your very inspiring inaugural speech in that the United States of America will lend a hand to remove those who cling to power through corruption, deceit and silencing of dissent.
The present Singapore government has satisfied every single criteria which you have described:
Clinging to power through:
1. Controlling the country’s reserves, economy, army, police, and the entire civil service.
2. Controlling the media.
3. Controlling civil society and NGOs.
Silencing of dissent through:
1. Bankrupting critics with defamation suits.
2. Laws banning outdoor assemblies and gatherings.
3. Harrassing and imprisoning activists via the police force.
