Bangkok Fire Tragedy - any omen?

Doomsday sayers here often like to associate certain events with future fortune or doom. Any omen for Thailand New PM or Singapore PM when so many people died in the fun?

Over 250,000 people young and old in Singapore welcomed the new year without any tragic incident - but 1000 people in Thailand having fun resulted in so many injuries and death - including Sporeans!

I take my hat off to the Spore leaders - they are really under appreciated! You can have your fun and laugh at it.

What omen? The only omen I can see is a full load of dumb asses playing fireworks inside a building that is full of combustable items.
1. Fireworks in a room full of combustable items.
2. Total chaos all the time
3. Place of overpacked and not everybody know what the hell the other guy is saying.
4. People were drinking like there was no tomorrow and I heard were already drunk.

an accident had happened. we must learn from it. this type of tragic accident had happened in many countries before and people never learn. just like killing your neighbours and acting like a neighbourhood bully, israel will never learn its mistakes - again, again and again.repeating the same old mistakes. we fail to learn from our mistakes and we continue to commit more mistakes and commit more evil deeds.
my heartfelt condolences to the dead and to the injured.

marina bay was packed.clarke quay was packed. and yet everything was peaceful and orderly. this is singapore. we should all count our blessings and kiss the ground.be grateful to our world class governance.be grateful to our great leaders. majulah singapura!!!

About the isreal part yah I totally agree with you keep on doing the same mistake over and over again getting to be quite stale. Someone should introduce to them ( The Art of War ) written by a yellow ching. Ever heard a saying " Cut grass don't pull the root come spring all will grow back again " ? They should follow that chinese saying and kill everybody man, woman, children, dogs, cats and everything that lives hence comes next spring nothing will come back to trouble them.
As for our govt being smart in holding it at marina bay and clarke quay I totally agree with you. Lots of water around and if a fire will to breakout don't need to worry much. However you also must give credit to the SG people beign more disaplined than those barbaric thais. I think its due to those 2 to 2.5 years of NS thats what makes the diff between the ppl of SG and Thai.

yes, singapore rocks around the clock. we also have to thank our home team too. while we were enjoying and celebrating, our Home Team was on red alert round the clock. singaporeans should be very grateful and should not take things for granted. count our blessings instead of whinning and whinning like hungry dogs and bitching wolves.
