Look at the fucking mess around us.

If you share-cars or car-pool, at least the drivers park in decent carpark lots and subject to fines when they park illegally.

Look at bike-sharing, we gotta invest parking areas for them and they are still littered all over and the operators are never fined for the mess that they created.

Use the PAP way of solving problems - implement tax or fine. It had worked for decades and it generate more revenue to pay our million dollar ministers. Long live PAP

These are the works of bike sellers, every biz has an enemy. Throw bikes everywhere to make a mess then blame renters.

False flag rises by bike sellers who feared loss of bike biz.

I have been saying this too. Bike sharing is a stupid idea, we see them thrown all over the place and vandalized. If a person can't even afford a bicycle, they should just walk or take the bus.

The road already congested enough, still allow PMD, bike sharing and e-bikes...what a shame.

Why are you complaining? Is it very vibrant in SG now with so much variety of transport?

Vibrant Garbage and Obstruction & Mess. Those who need bikes, must buy their own and take responsibility, or face their bikes destroyed by mob or confiscated. Or limb their ass around. No convenience nor tolerance at the expense of others. World should not Pamper useless lazy bastards, and when they gave problem PUNISH or ELIMINATE THEM. It will be even more Vibrant if I see a Selfish SG53 bastard hung on every lamp post! Got it?

bike sharing has no bike owners. nobody is responsible for them when they are strewn all over. that’s the problem. in asian societies don’t expect asians to be civilized, considerate, and civic minded. even japs are a fucking mess in their privacy when no one is watching.

They tried to 'civilise' the users of the bike's users, but you can 'take _____ ( fill in the blank) out of the jungle, you can't take the jungle out of _____ ( fill in the blank). They have yellow boxes drawn next to bus stops, in HDB Blocks etc...you find few bikes are parked neatly there, if there is any....most will be just thrown in a heap. Yet, you still find these bikes everywhere, some blocking the path one walk on. Many are vandalised...I have ask before...many have the seats removed, why the seats?.There are other parts, like the dynamo & light, the bell, the brakes, the brake pads?? why the seats?

Is the 'boss' of the forum stealing them for his 'collection'? The provider of the bike sharing service, must follow the PAP example, impose a $5 deposit for renting the bikes & upon return to the PROPER DESIGNATED PARKING area, deposit will be refunded.

Other than that...you can bring the 'cow' to the water to drink...that 'cow' will pee there.

Actually the biz strategy is good.

Let the market sort out the bike parking problem themselves.

Renters will find ways to solve their problems.

Be clever solve problems make money.

fine the enterprises that operate this bike biz... my office block in jurong has put up the notice.. it will be effective from 1 March .. all fines collected will go to the block maintenance fund

we've been tolerating this fucking shit business for too long... patience exhausted :mad:

sf, the most leftwing commie liberal tech-friendly city in the world has approved dozens of disruptive tech to operate within the city but bans bike sharing unless operator can secure designated bike return and parking spots. can't believe the goons in sg can approve it without deliberating the consequences.

you sound like the notice is a big fucking deal. People can choose not to follow any notice.

Just remember the govt that created this mess and vote them out.

I see mostly foreigners and new citizens using them-so the 70% being used to decades of special treatment for foreign talents gladly give way to them. Not enough for them to take your jobs and places in schools/tertiary institutions, now must be subjected to being harassed by their bicycles and PMD's.
