Back to your neighborhood grocery stores

This is a good chance for the neighborhood stores to make more money.

As almost all NTUC supermarkets and Cold Storage stores are located in shopping malls, the often-overlooked neighborhood grocery stores must now step up and offer more goodies for the unvaccinated individuals who will not be able to do their shopping in the malls. This is the time to support our neighborhood stores.

Unvaccinated individuals should also make use of this window of opportunity to brush up their culinary skills and start cooking at home.

Now that unvaccinated individuals are completely banned from dine in anywhere, and not even allowed to step into shopping malls, if the figures do not fall in a few weeks' time, then there will be nobody else they can blame. :sneaky:

I remember a neighborhood grocery store downstairs, the money was kept inside a bucket suspended on a thick rubber band. When you bought something, the shop owner would bring down the bucket, put in the money and take out the correct amount of change, then released the bucket so it went back up beyond the reach of customers.

Good times. Three of such sweets cost 10 cents at that time. After some years inflation kicked in and it became five for 20 cents. Probably much more expensive now, do they even sell sweets singly instead of in a pack these days?

Great idea!
If Singaporeans had true solidarity like the French, they would just boycott malls altogether.
And this rule wold be gone in a week. But we know how you all are...a bunch of fucking cucks!

Only way now is to boycott malls...make singapores biggest landlord feel the pain.

Talk about missing the forest for the trees... Why is it some people are so farking dense?

Who's blaming them? Nobody's blaming the unvaxxed. Keeping them out from dining and where large crowds gather like malls is for everyone's good. They are more likely to die or become seriously ill from catching covid and they will burden the healthcare system when they do. End of.

Farking stupid morons take years to understand this simple point. That's why they are unvaxxed.

exactly. the more people follow rules is equal to more power given to PAP, the more your life is screwed. The only way to stop all these is not to follow any covid rules and restrictions. The people need to have to balls to deal with it, no balls = no life. and it will have the potential to kill you too. Wake up!!!!! The people need to act by THEMSELVES if they want their life back. no one can help you, you only can help yourself.

My favorite sweets, Hacks 3 for S$0.10 (maybe 4) during my childhood time in the 70s, can be brought from the Indian mama stores. Those days, 1 stick of Marlboro only S$0.10.
