Baby's body found on dumpster

IPOH - The body of a baby girl was found on top of a dumpster in a back alley along Jalan Dato Onn Jaafar here.
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Sum Chang Keong said a rubbish collector found the body at about 7pm on Friday and called the police.
"The baby had her umbilical cord and placenta still attached.
"The body was wrapped in a bag," he said.
ACP Sum said there were no injuries on the body, which was sent to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital for a post-mortem.
"We will investigate and arrest the person responsible," he said.
On Thursday, a newborn was found by rubbish collectors in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.
The infant was packed into a rubbish bag and almost thrown into a trash compactor but the baby girl's cries alerted the rubbish collectors.
The baby is receiving treatment at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang.
