Avoid this bus route

This bus is bloody important to soldiers in Sungei Gedong. Going to Sungei Gedong from CCK MRT is like going to Pulau Tekong from Pasir MRT. The poorest kids in Singapore are posted there.

Very unreliable service, infrequent and always full during peak hours. Beautiful route during weekend daytime.

nobody talks on that bus. it has a circular route from bukit panjang interchange to lck and back. it’s interesting to take the late night ride to lck and back for makan at bkt panjang. may invite some strangers along at lck.

Before 975, bus no. 172 used to ply along that route in LCK in the 80s. It was far more eerie at night back then.

A load of crap. The bus stops at every stop because the bus need to maintain a certain time schedule. It cannot be too early or too late to end the journey. If the bus journey estimated need 1 hr to run the route and results in only 20mins finishing the journey because no one is at the stops, the bus schedule time will be a mess.

I will take the last bus one day and update you guys. That long stretch of road is actually nice to walk at night.

What's wrong with plying lck cemetry ? There are also buses plying cck cemetery etc all also need to avoid?
Then how to go cemetery visit loved ones?

If you do that, can you please look around to see if there's any cctv there? May be a good place to dispose a dead body.

yes, you can feel the sadness of those NSF booking in on late Sunday nights on the bus. Every sunday night, they got to wipe down their beds frame and mattress because dust from the nearby dirt tracks will settle on them. Every morning, the shit smell from nearby chicken farms will greet them when they wake up. The toilets and cook houses are the worst in Singapore with the dirtiest utensils. The good thing is that you can smoke anywhere you want, nobody cares.

Officers also sianz going into the camp; nobody will choose Armour as first choice-posting, so these are the worst among each batch or drop-outs from pilot-selections programmes. Serving armour in Kranji Camp is like heaven compared to this shit hole.

For the reservists, most cannot stay out, and during mobilization, the fatty FMO will stop them from drive into camp and park along the Lim Chu Kang Road intersection with Sungei Gedong road and get fined. The rest got to spend $20-30 to take cab back to camp to meet the mobilization timing.

So much for national service.
