Why are many australians leaving australia to come to america

lately i've ran into alot of mates here in my home state of minneapolis, united states that have moved here from say melbourne or perth and can never wonder why the hell they would leave australia to come here. why do they come here??and it seems that alot of kiwis are coming here too!!!are they tired of water restrictions and the heat? Or are they coming over for the better living prospects cars houses? i dont get it..,.,,<

The grass is always greener on the other side and they probably wanted to live in a different country.
I do know some younger ones that have gone over to work in summer camps but most young Aussies go to Europe as they usually have family descendant's there

If you want come good for you and don't let others put you off because its best to make up your own mind it could be the best decision of your life.

Its not really about having all the you beaut material things over here its about having good way of life which I think we have.

its not just the Aussies - its 2010 we have the fiscal decline of the EU and now once again millions from Italy, Spain, Portugal and all over the EU are trying to go to the USA the SAME WAY investors the world over are once again looking at the US$ or gold as the ultimate safe play. Adding all the Asians, other nationals explains why the US is still the #1 recipient of citizenship applications in the world. There is not much stability anywhere. Singapore still looses a large number of its elites to the USA every year, much to the chagrin of the SG govt. The brain drain continues......

Just ignore the trolls. We have a serious situation where Europeans are targeting Asians. Greeks are feeling the heat. Their retirement age has been moved from age 53 to 65 and there is no longer guarantee on their "80% of last drawn pay" pension.

So, USA is being replaced by Australians and Europeans, while Americans are leaving for other entrepreneur friendly countries.

Don't forget, a lot of aussies are in Hollywood right now as well. Sam Worthinton, Anna Torv, Nicole kidman, Cate Blancet, etc etc.

Okay, blame me.
I should self censor myself because trolls are sensitive to bad news from America by an American magazine.

Should I sue the magazine for spreading bad news? But it will not stand in the First Amendment of the US Constitution. Aussie court will also throw out my case under the 1992 Supreme court ruling of the same.

But I can sue in Singapore court. So, where does the problems lie?

Hmmm ... remind me of the politics of a country where I escape from ....

Singapore is contuning to loose its better educated and wealthy to the US every year, as does the UK, NZ, and yes even, Australia.

America has its advantages, gained as a only Entrepreneur-friendly country in the early days in the Cold War when Europe and Australia/Nz are socialist havens.
Singapore is nowhere to be found!
But now latecomer Australia decided to dump hairdressers and chefs from its migrant list. hahaha Finally, the pollies get it
