STOMPer Concern Commuter witnessed this aunty spitting thrice onto the priority seat on the MRT and feels disgusted by her behaviour.

Says the STOMPer:

“I would like to bring this matter up to all commuters.

“As far as everyone is concerned, hygiene is by far the major topic since H1N1 struck Singapore. This has brought me to a conclusion that there are some citizens who are not properly educated about hygiene.

“On Aug 17, I was on board the east-west bound train with my girlfriend.

“It was about 3.20pm when an elderly Chinese woman boarded the train and before she could sit, she laid out a plastic bag on the priority seat. That wasn't a big deal.

“The thing is, after a few minutes, I noticed that suddenly, that particular woman pulled out a piece of tissue, spat on it, and started wiping her forearm.

“I found that disgustingly bad. What was worse, she threw that particular piece of tissue right behind her, which then landed on the MRT seat.

“She repeated this cycle twice and she spat on the seat thrice.

“Everyone around her looked uncomfortable.

“Spitting is an offence, everyone knows that.

“Attached is the video clip, if you watch it closely, at the 30-second mark she literally spits on the seat.”

Watched the vid, she was really spitting globe of spit! Well, no one said anything, scared that she spit on them?

Peasants have to pay BILLIONS to have the MRT so as to travel in comfort and the Pappies are paid MILLIONS but can't ensure that MENTAL CASES are kept in IMH so that these ppl don't need to travel, let alone use the MRT!

It is one of her religious rituals to clean her seat before sitting on it mah...

nowdays no longer slapping on the seat before sitting! it is spitting on the seat
