True. So many boomers go polyclinic, hospital to try treat one ailment after another. No more savings, ask children pay....money better used for new generation
Most people want to be a good son or daughter when their parents are old. The price is that in every extended family, somebody must sacrifice their career or time with children to take care of seniors.
Many caregivers break down eventually because their old father or mother are no longer the same parent that they used to know.
That's why my friends and I agree that a swift or sudden death is a blessing to our kids.
