It is confirmed also that there is moon in JB and Batam during the moon cake festival 30 Sept 2009 night time, that although there was rain in JB but it stopped about 9pm and sky cleared and people BBQ in their homes' gardens with lanterns held by happy Malaysian children.
However not in SG, not at all. I saw people tried to have BBQ but under roofs only. Absolutely no moon all the way until past midnight (1 October morning).
There was not only rain, but also HAZE to keep Singaporeans from seeing the supposedly most beautiful moon. The entire sky is dark, the rain could not get rid of all the haze. It was a shitty 中秋节 in SG!
