If a Singaporean student cannot compete in Singapore's tertiary system, he/she is not likely to compete in the ivy league universities elsewhere, unless you send him to a 3rd or 4th grade institution overseas. Please stop complaining about foreign talents. If it is not for us, Singapore would have remained in the backwaters

If it is not these mediocre FTs coming to s'pore, our productivity level wouldn't have dropped like shits. These FTs start to believe the PAP govt's lie that they are talented when what they can offer is only cheaper wages.

What this govt is seeking in foreigners is merely numbers, not quality. Foreign talent is just nice sounding and has been used as a pretension to mass import foreigners into S'pore. The main objective of the policy is just to depress wage cost for companies so that s'pore can be cheaper.

However, cheaper wages have been offset by higher office rentals and we end up having a low productivity economy, high residential housing cost and all our higher education goes down the drain because the employers are not looking at quality of workers when selecting prospective candidates.

All these will have a very negative impact on our birth rate when the majority of s'poreans are not able to earn enough to even get married, start a family and the PAP govt will then proclaim that because of our low birth rate, we need to import more foreigners. The vicious cycle continues .....
