Armed group chases 2 men

SINGAPORE - It looked like something from the movies. Six men armed with knives were seen chasing two other men in Geylang, from Lorong 27 to Lorong 25A, at 10.45pm on Saturday.
One of the two men being chased was later found leaning against a taxi with blood all over his shirt, while the other was found underneath the taxi.
A member of the public was seen taking a photo of the bloodied man.
Bloodstains could be seen on the back of the taxi and a knife was found on the ground nearby.
It could not be confirmed if the knife belonged to the alleged attackers.
A group of some 30 bystanders surrounded the two men and the taxi. None of the bystanders helped the men, a resident at Lorong 25A told Lianhe Wanbao.
Another witness, a 60-year-old who declined to be named, told the Chinese daily: "I was at a coffee shop near Lorong 27, drinking with friends and watching a football match, when two men ran past us and were chased by six men.
"One of the six men took chairs from the roadside and threw it at the two men."
He said he could also hear the attackers shouting, but could not make out what they were saying.
Coffeeshop assistant Ah Ming, 50, who works at Lorong 27, rushed out of the shop to find out what was happening after he heard shouts and the sound of fighting outside.
He told Lianhe Wanbao: "I saw the chase and shouted, 'Stop fighting! Stop fighting!', but they didn't stop." Police said they received a call at 10.47pm asking for assistance.
When they arrived, a man in his 30s was found injured at the scene and was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
