If the FT come here before age 7, I dont mind because they already consider Singaporean. Because Education here and training from small no one will dare to speak import talent.

So many of the table tennis players in USA, Germany, France, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Spain etc are ethnic Chinese - if these countries are not embarassed, why should you? These players came to Singapore when they were teenagers - like many grandfathers who came to Singapore to make a living.

Sports is for the purpose of personal development and the bonding of a nation. Unlike other nations, the Chinese players are peripheral to add to the total medal tally. They have their own natives winning their better established sports.

Looks we also seem to get the dumber ones. The smarter ones are in the 1st world countries.
