The Hungry Ghost realm (also known as the Preta realm)

Pretas are invisible to the human eye, but some believe they can be discerned by some humans in certain mental states. Pretas are described as human-like, but with sunken, mummified skin, narrow limbs, enormously distended bellies and long, thin necks. This appearance is a metaphor for their mental situation: They have enormous appetites, signified by their gigantic bellies, but a very limited ability to satisfy those appetites, symbolized by their slender necks.

if we look around ourselves, u shall realise that u do not need to go to hell to see the manifestation of the "hungry ghost" syndrome.

just look at the paps minitoots with their million$ and still wanting more million$. such hunger or greed seems to be infinite and cannot be appeased. don't be fooled that "paying them million$ would stamp out corruption". it's just an excuse only.

those who are shoties and minitoots at the same time make the best "hungry ghosts". hence, the peasants suffer miserably to appease their hunger - if u know what i mean:p

even monks or religious practitioners are not spared. they could be hungry ghosts in disguise.

look at the flower botak monk who fed platinum cards to his horde of bfs and accumulate properties when he was the head botak of a fine temple in geylang.
