Are new gen Sinkaporeans inconsiderate pigs?

This afternoon, i happily brought along my laptop, hoping to surf in a cafe. The good thing about this particular outlet is the power points which allow u to powe ur laptops.

Most of the seats around the power points were taken. So never mind lan lan jus order coffee and read some mags.

Noticed this couple - looks in their 20s. Occupying 2 tables, with books and laptops sprawled all over the tables. Sat there for damn long. Afterwards i went to do some shopping, had dinner and walk walk.

Around 2-3 hours later, when i returned, the couple still there! But i think the cafe management also du lan this couple occupy 2 tables instead of 1. So the tables were split up. The couple now has to contend with one small table. And i happily took up the free table.

I guess this made me thought of a point. And that is, the more educated young Sinkaporeans are pretty inconsiderate. Only care about themselves. The more educated they are, the more they feel they have the right to just care about themselves. But at the same time, they are still a docile bunch who gets whipped by PAPpies constantly. lol

During our parents time, if unhappy about something, people just KAO PEH and forget after a while.

This obsevation is true for many of the Sporeans who have made it & not just the young.

For those older generation who can't adjust to the new realities they'll probably end up as tissue sellers. Suspect many of these are the uncles/aunties leaving Spore. Other than greener pastures they are looking for a more gracious society
