Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Citigroup Inc. had offered the Brazilian government a stake of about 30 percent during the financial crisis, said Brazilian Energy and Mines Minister Edison Lobao.
Lobao said at an event in New York that the government “quickly abandoned” the idea. “Any prudent government would have been cautious,” he said.
