If you want to trade the US mkt its cheaper to use a US discount broker like Etrade. Only cost US$9.90 per trade

For Malaysian market cheaper to open an account with a Malaysian broker. They don't charge a holding fee, unlike Spore brokers & you save on GST on the dividens that are paid out.
