Flip your notebook over.... read the voltage and current details behind... multiply them to get the wattage... then multiply wattage by hour to get watt-hour and lastly....

call sing power and ask them to give you the best electricity rate...

Notebook consume very little electricity. Will be less than your ceiling lamp if the LCD is off. And don't pluy too many USB like mouse/modem/light/fan.............................better don't plug any socket in USB port.

Battery for average laptop will last about 3hr that is good for watch movie. Want better battery like, you can buy extra battery with bigger Am. Or buy new laptop that using RAM rather than hard disk .

Buy this one:

You have the option to charge the battery by hand winding.

3 hours usage only need to hand wind 18 minutes.

Not bad, getting some exercises at the same time.

The operating system is Redhat and all the software is open source. It has a battery pack which you can charge with either electricity or manually by hand winding/foot pumping. Using the manual method you get approximately 10 minutes computer time for each minute of winding.

so , how much are u paying ?

My notebook is 19V, 3.42amp.. so thats 65 watts... so for every hour usage, its 65-watt-hr... multiply by the electricity rate (which I do not have right now)... thats your usage in dollars or yuan or usd... :p
