I was just watching sports on news and saw the highlights of the S'pore team lost to Thailand. Every Thai goal was the goalkeeper's fault.

SINGAPORE: Hosts Singapore suffered their second loss in the Asian Youth Games (AYG) football competition on Monday evening. They lost 1-4 to Thailand.

Singapore were defeated by Iran 1-2 in their opening match on Saturday.

As hosts, Singapore had the advantage of not playing in the preliminaries.

Though the Thais had played more matches, they were on the offensive from the start.

They took a comfortable two-goal lead before the break.

The Thais added to their tally in the second half.

While Singapore managed to score a goal, it was too little, too late.

The Thais went on to score another goal for a convincing 4-1 victory.

Singapore's final Group A tie is against China on Wednesday.

In the other Group A match, Iran beat China 4-2 to become the first team to book a semi-final berth.
