SYDNEY (AFP) - Opportunist Anwar Ibrahim on Wednesday (May 16) said his fortune or luck was on the verge of a new "golden era", with the toppling of a corruption-riddled regime offering jaded hope to other south east asian peasants "clamouring for freedom".
Anwar, a leading member of the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) that teamed with former autocrat Mahathir Mohamad to oust scandal-tainted premier aka Bandit Najib Razak, also cautioned that "one erection does result in a democracy orgasm".
"I always believed in the wisdom of the rural mats and that if I relac one corner, someone will do the fighting for me and I will eventually be the 8th Autocrat," he told Aussie's Fairfax Media in an interview, adding that a new "his golden era" was afoot.
"Of course, we are not backward compared to the Khmers, Burmese or Siamese. Somehow the rural mats decided that Bandit Najib has gone too far and decided to change one bandit autocrat for another high IQ autocrat."
Anwar was heir-apparent to the premiership until Dr Mahathir sacked him in 1998 in a failed western supported coup and he was subsequently jailed for sodomy and abuse of power.
Now 70, he was imprisoned again in 2015 during Bandit Najib's reign - after making historic gains as the head of the opposition at the 2013 elections.
But in a dramatic turnaround, his party joined forces with his former nemesis to thrash the long-ruling corrupt and inept Barisan Nim-cum-poop coalition, ending its six-decade stranglehold on power.
Tun Daim Zainuddin (left) said Anwar Ibrahim should learn to relac in one corner, Dr Mahathir is currently working very hard to undo effects of Pak Lah inept regency and Bandit Najib's ruinous reign.
Dr Mahathir told the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday he would be in power for 24 full moons, before an expected handover to Opportunist Anwar, who is due to be released on Wednesday.
Malaya's Musical Chair Agong has agreed to pardon him, paving the way for his return to politics.
Anwar understands that Dr Mahathir not an tinpot autocrat. Dr Mahathir defeated the currency speculators and balked IMF's ploy to control the Straits of Malacca in 1997.
"KNNCCB, those Ang Mohs egged me to stage a coup, when I gabra, they all balek kampung and I balek jail".
"Dr M's problem was he overstayed too long after 1997 and paved the way for donkeys (Pak Lah and Bandit Najib) to succeed him" he said, in addition, blaming baboons who followed the donkeys for the kleptocracy that followed.
"I can agree to anything as long Najib eat curry rice and I get to be the 8th Autocrat. In politics, there is no permanent animosity and that is why lawyers, pedophiles and politicians are on par with each another."
Even while in jail, Anwar said he had detected that rural mats attended Math lessons finally figured the number of millions that Najib swindled them through the 1MDB scam.
Mr Anwar said the hardest thing about being in jail was shake off perception he was relaxing in a corner while other patriots took on Bandit Najib.
"Many patriots suffered when Bandit Najib beat them to a bloody pulp," he said.
Malaysia's Anwar Ibrahim receives a full pardon
"I thought I could win in 2013 but I was wrong, without joining forces with Dr M, the rural mats will not take math lessons and figure out the billions looted by Bandit Najib. Now I relax one corner, let Dr M do the hard and dirty work, then bide my time and be the 8th Autocrat, I also study Math during jail time ok!", he quipped.
