Malaysia will continue its oil exploration in the South China Sea, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has said, as his government launches a probe into the source of a leaked protest note sent to the country’s embassy in Beijing by China’s foreign ministry.

Last week, Philippine news outlet The Inquirer published pictures of a two-page note, as part of a story on Beijing’s assertion that Malaysia’s oil and gas exploration activities in the contested waters had infringed on China’s territory.

Russia had a oil concession in Vietnam but pulled out after China harassed the operations.
Malaysia oil operations extend up to disputed border with Vietnam and Thailand where instead of quarrelling, all decided to do a joint exploration. All these done in the 1990's when China was still weak. Now it's too late. Oil platforms are all over Malaysia part of South China Sea. Except in disputed border with Philippines as Philippines still has a claim on Sabah which they refuse to let go. If they had resolved the matter petronas oil rigs and platforms would have dotted the West Philippines sea as well.

Guess what? Russia will subcontract it to China. Russia got no more men in work force
There were many opportunities for China companies to do oil and gas jobs in South China Sea but Beijing will not allow it.
Off china companies go in, it's like recognizing Malaysia's territory.

Everyone should play punk with China. If those 'fishing boats' from China venture too close to your waters, sink them with your navy.

China stops its citizens from investing in Mudland. Forest Hills finally collapses. Agong will smack Anwar. Johor state will kick federal government out of Johor.
