The anti-unlicensed moneylending kit pack contains brochures and helpline services for residents to cope in emergency situations.
SINGAPORE: A resource pack was launched in Toa Payoh on Saturday evening as part of an anti-unlicensed moneylending drive.
Some 400 residents joined MP for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, Zainudin Nordin, at Kim Keat Avenue for the unveiling of the anti-unlicensed moneylending kit pack.
The pack contains brochures and helpline services for residents to cope in emergency situations.
The event aims to bring the community together to put a stop to unlicensed moneylending.
Jointly organised by grassroots organisations and government agencies, the event is also part of the annual Community Safety and Security Programme (CSSP).
Toa Payoh East is the first constituency to have the kit pack.
