Porn found in Japanese teenage comic series

STOMPer Grace Ng was shocked when she discovered that the Japanese teenage comic series that her 15-year-old daughter was reading contains pornographic material.

In an email to STOMP today (Sept 30), the STOMPer says:

“I recently discovered that my 15-year-old daughter have been reading thw Japanese comic series 'Nana' passed around by her classmates.

“Out of curiosity, I picked up one of the books, and to my horror, I discovered pornography depicted in the comics.

“I glanced through all the books and found many other undesired materials in books 1-4.

“The story outlines high school teenagers involved with married men and casual sex.

“I am filled with disbelief that this kind of material is exposed to teenagers.

“Parents, be aware of what kind of reading materials your children are reading.”
