This inconsiderate woman could not care less about the handicapped commuters around her, and so the STOMPer who spotted her appalling behaviour wonders how it’s possible to respect ladies nowadays.

In an email to STOMP today (Dec 24), the STOMPer says:

“This lady is very selfish and inconsiderate. There were many passengers behind the yellow line waiting for the MRT train to arrive.

“When one train was approaching, this woman rushed in to stand right in front and in the middle where the door would open.

“I scolded her and asked her to let the inside passengers out first, but she just ignored. It so happened that there was a handicapped person on a wheelchair who was on her own, and another who was walking with crutches.

“She did not give way to them and even rushed in and almost knocked down the one with crutches.

“She rushed for the priority seat and pretended to sleep.

“How does one respect the ladies nowadays?”
