Another crocodile caught in Kuantan
KUANTAN: The sighting of an estuarine crocodile in a ditch, about 100m from Sungai Kuantan at Kampung Sungai Soi here created a stir among residents. The crocodile was caught by 13 firemen as it crossed Lorong Permatang Chengal, Kampung Sungai Soi at 8.22am yesterday.

Pahang Fire and Rescue Department public relations officer Anuar Hassan said firemen took about 30 minutes to subdue the aggressive 150kg crocodile and handed it to Perhilitan.
Pahang Perhilitan director Khairiah Mohd Shariff said the crocodile would be released into its natural habitat, as was a 200kg estuarine crocodile found at Teluk Chempedak beach here last month. — Bernama
